The Idaho Small Business Development Center (SBDC) has been working diligently to provide virtual resources and up-to-date information on important topics like Payroll Protection Plan (PPP) Loan Forgiveness to small businesses across Idaho. These statewide webinars are available at no-cost to attendees, and attendees do not have to be SBDC clients.
The PPP Forgiveness webinar features current information and guidance, visual aids that clarify timelines, forms and required documentation, and expert-guided live Q&A to ensure pressing questions are answered. The visual aids and recorded webinar are sent to participants after the webinar concludes so that they can revisit these resources as needed.
Many training topics have been covered by the SBDC, but PPP Forgiveness has been so critical for small business that it’s been offered five times, and all have been well-attended with registration numbers averaging in the eighties.
“We’ll continue to offer the PPP Forgiveness webinar as long as registration numbers show that it’s relevant and serves high value to Idaho small business,” said Ruth Schwartz, Idaho SBDC Business Consultant and lead PPP Forgiveness webinar presenter.
Since beginning the webinars in May of 2020, the SBDC has conducted 32 statewide virtual trainings with a total of 2,485 attendees from across Idaho. These numbers demonstrate the impact and reach the webinars have on the Idaho business community. Visit the SBDC’s website to see upcoming webinars. In addition to statewide trainings, the SBDC is still operating to provide no-cost, confidential consulting to clients who want to start a business, need assistance growing their business, or would like help navigating these challenging times. The Idaho SBDC remains committed to the safety of its team and clients and to serving the needs of small businesses across Idaho.
