After 44 years in business, David brings a broad background in business and technology to the Idaho Small Business Development Center (SBDC). He has started, owned, and operated a number of businesses including: aircraft manufacturing, alternative energy, general contracting, HVAC contracting, pest control, software development, business consulting, and more. He has degrees in both horticulture and business.
David provides consultation, training, and mentoring to individuals and businesses in a wide spectrum of topics ranging from business development and marketing to resourcing, procurement, and technology development. His forte is analyzing and implementing strategies for businesses at all levels including business start-ups, expansions, and businesses at risk. Dave is also a licensed commercial pilot and FAA flight instructor.

Frosty has a BS from Idaho State University in Communication and Rhetorical Studies with an emphasis in Organizational Communication.
Frosty started as the Training Director for Region VI in April 2008 and is now an SBDC Business Consultant.
She works closely with the Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce and the Small Business Association and is the main point of contact for the Idaho Falls Small Business Development Center.

Bryan graduated from Utah State University and Ricks College with degrees in Marketing and General Business. For over twenty years Bryan has been a business consultant and coach working with entrepreneurs in numerous public, private, and non-profit organizations to improve results in their business and personal lives.
An entrepreneur himself, Bryan has built multiple businesses and currently owns eTECH Inc. In 2015, Bryan became the Executive Director of the Idaho Innovation Center, and in 2016 became a part-time SBDC business consultant specializing in sales and marketing strategies, financial management, operations and organizational structure.

Alan Howell

While attending Rick’s College, Alan Howell was invited to work for a Property/Construction Management Firm. He has worked in administrative positions throughout his career including Job Foreman, Superintendent, Construction Management, Bookkeeper, Comptroller and General Manager.
He has also been CEO of his own company. He has in depth experience in marketing, manufacturing, human resources, auditing and transportation.
Alan has traveled to all 50 states as well as most of the Provinces of Canada. He has kept his home in Idaho all his life; currently residing near Leadore, Idaho, in the South Lemhi Valley. Yes, he is an Alumni of Leadore High School.

Brian McDermott

Brian McDermott leads the Teton Regional Economic Coalition, the mission of
which is to grow and diversify the economy in this 13,000 person Rocky
Mountain community.
Prior to taking on that role in 2013, he worked for 29 years in a variety of
corporate communications leadership roles with natural resource, manufacturing,
information technology and recreation equipment companies.
From 2008 until 2013 he was vice president of Corporate Communications for
the Birmingham, Ala.-based subscription, publishing, information services and
diversified manufacturing firm, EBSCO Industries. From 1994 to 2008, he was
communications and public affairs director for Weyerhaeuser Company, the
Federal Way, Wash.,-based forest products company.
McDermott has also worked as a ski racing coach, program manager and board
member of clubs on the East and West Coast. He served for five years on the
board of the Teton Valley Ski Education Foundation, including three years as
board chair. He currently is a Driggs Urban Renewal Agency commissioner.
He has a bachelor’s degree in English and journalism from William Paterson
University, Wayne, N.J.
