Alex Aguilar started Aguila Con El Taco in 2009 and is the best type of business owner – he listens to his customers and coaches and follows through with advice.

He now owns his building after an owner carried the note and the title company helped validate the process. He has a great relationship with his banks as well as all of the federal and state agencies. He is transparent with his customers, vendors, and associates. And has a loyal staff that reflects highly of his leadership skills and ability to communicate in both English and Spanish.

Projects with the Idaho SBDC have included: the purchase of the startup business, then purchased the current facility at the then new
location, working through regulations when first starting out, two facility expansions, opening and closing a buffet, purchasing, and maintaining a tortilla machine, and a full liquor license throughout the history of his Burley location.
