After working at other home inspection businesses, Jeff Parsons decided to open Healthy Home Environmental Services LLC. Within a year, Jeff had about 25 independent contractors on his payroll. With this growth, Jeff is now preparing to franchise his business. Jeff attributes much of his business success to taking advantage of the opportunities at the Idaho SBDC such as a ‘Growing Your Business’
workshop series and having weekly accountability meetings. Because of the value Jeff found in SBDC coaching, he plans to require his franchisees to utilize a business coach during their rst year in operation.
“The reason I choose to work with the SBDC is because I am new to running a business of this nature. I felt any counseling or mentorship I could get would be benecial. What I was not expecting was the level of professionalism from the SBDC. Any business owner that does not take the opportunity to receive coaching from the SBDC has to be completely crazy!”
