Idaho PTAC wins the 2018 Economic Impact Award
At this year’s National Procurement Technical Assistance Center Conference, our very own Idaho PTAC was recognized for their work with Winspear Construction.
The Idaho PTAC began advising Winspear Construction as it was being founded in 2014. Once the company was up and running, PTAC Counselor Lee Velten helped them navigate registrations and a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Certification from the VA. From there, Lee helped Winspear carefully craft a Dynamic Small Business Search profile and capability statement, ultimately working on bid proposal preparation.
The results have been impressive and have had a tremendous impact on this young company. Winspear has won contracts with 4 different agencies totaling $14 million. Vice President Karen Winspear said to PTAC Program Manager, Gary Moore, “We continue to learn valuable things from you about this wise, old, ever-changing giant that federal contracting is. Thank you for all your patience over the last year and all the help you have given us.”
