In 2022 the 52 employees of the Idaho Small Business Development Center (SBDC) contributed an increase of $72M in client business sales, helped create 85 new businesses, and served 1,942 Idaho business clients. The impact culminated in $123M in total output across the state of Idaho, representing a 15X return on the investments made by the organizations that supported the Idaho SBDC in 2022. This data is collected to be reported to stakeholders and funding sources such as the SBA, the State of Idaho, and University Hosts who support the SBDC. In order to be reported, our clients must have attributed the reported impact to the assistance provided by Idaho SBDC consultants.
